The former was led by Alessandro Mendini, whose Proust Chair took an iconic Italian design and reimagined it with a variety of vibrant contemporary colors, patterns and finishes. In Pennsylvania Dutch interior design, you’ll see similarities to rustic, farmhouse-impressed houses.
